The U.S. embassy in Mexico has advised Americans not to travel to the resort of Acapulco after "protests and violent incidents" in the Mexican state of Guerrero. The resort city has witnessed a rash of unrest after 43 students disappeared in Guerrero in September, the embassy said in a statement released Friday. Mexican demonstrators have hijacked buses, blocked highways to Acapulco and blockaded the city's airport in an effort to pressure the local government to find the missing students.
