Chaos unfolded inside a New Jersey Chinese restaurant after somebody opened fire late Sunday, killing a man.

It's not yet clear what led a gunman to send bullets went flying at around 10 p.m. at No. 1 on South Orange Avenue in Newark. At least six bullet holes riddled a window.

A man, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Video from the scene shows police and detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s office looking for clues.

The area was roped off with crime scene tape for hours, but fully reopened early Monday. The investigation is ongoing.
